I am Shamyra Moodley, an accountant, writer, mum and now sustainable fashion designer. I have a shared passion for colours, textures, and designing items that spark joy. I use art and fashion to share my narrative about how I see the world through the lenses of my African, Indian, and Irish heritage. Timeless yet quirky silhouettes act as a canvas to weave my heart's desires, transfer emotion, and leave just enough room for poetry.

Each uniquepiece is lovingly handmadein my home studio withreclaimed T-shirt yarn,vintage sarees and remnantfabric waste. Each LaaniRaani piece has been thoughtfully designed and takes into account our planet and its people.
